That looks absolutely fabulous! I live nowhere near L.A, but I just read the Omnivore's Dilemma, and have ordered 4 more books including In Defense of Food, Food Rules, and a couple by Joel Salatin. I just want to say... I'm glad you support eating delicious foods, good, whole foods, not food products. I'm trying to eat locally... keep it up!

Hi Abby Jo,
thanks so much for the comment. I am a huge Michael Pollan fan, and I fell in love with the Omnivore's Dilemma when it first came out a few years ago...
You might also enjoy Marian Nestle, Nina Planck, and Alice Waters...lectures by these and other foodie transformers as well as 'The Future of Food' and 'King Corn' are here. http://omchef.blogspot.com/search/label/edu
