The Original Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax
In the Summer of 1934, during the Great Depression,
the first farmers market was born at 3rd and Fairfax
in Los Angeles.
The brainchild of Roger Dahlhjelm and Fred Beck, a planned
village of artists, craftsman and farmers, the Farmers Market has
exceeded the original vision.
Home of Huntington Meats and Sausage, and Marconda Meats,
both exceptional independent butchers
